PressureCalmX testing standards, from raw leaf to sealed bottle
The lot check page publishes the result for the run that is shipping. This page explains the process that produces those results, so the numbers have something behind them.
Where PressureCalmX is made
The formula is produced for the brand owner in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility in Aurora, Colorado. FDA registration means the facility is known to the agency and subject to inspection; GMP certification means it works to documented current Good Manufacturing Practice for dietary supplements. Neither is an FDA approval of PressureCalmX, and we would rather write that sentence ourselves than have a reader assume the opposite.
What every PressureCalmX lot is tested for
| Test | Method and threshold |
|---|---|
| Identity | HPLC-UV fingerprint against botanical reference standards |
| Potency | Assay of the declared blend weight and of the vitamin actives |
| Heavy metals | ICP-MS for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, < 0.6 ppm |
| Microbiology | Total plate count, yeast, mould, E. coli and Salmonella, Pass, within USP limits |
| Pesticide residue | Screened on incoming botanical raw material |
| Moisture and disintegration | Capsule disintegration timed against USP guidance |
Third-party work for the current run was carried out by Yellowtail Bioanalytics, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, and reported under certificate YB-9427-26. Active purity came back at 98.9% by HPLC-UV.
Raw material sourcing
Botanical quality is decided before anything reaches a capsule. Each incoming lot of hawthorn, hibiscus, garlic, olive leaf, green tea, buchu, uva ursi and juniper arrives with a supplier certificate, is identity-tested on receipt, and is quarantined until it clears. Material that fails identity or contaminant screening is rejected rather than blended down.
The vitamins are pharmaceutical-grade commodity actives, which is the easy part of a formula like PressureCalmX. The botanicals are where the variability lives, and where the testing budget goes.
What testing does not tell you
A certificate confirms identity, potency against the declared blend weight, and that contaminants sit under threshold. It does not confirm that the formula works, it does not reveal the per-plant milligrams inside a proprietary blend, and it is not a clinical trial. Anyone selling a supplement will show you a purity figure; only a trial would show you an effect, and PressureCalmX has not been through one.
